About
Inspiration
I embraced counselling and psychotherapy to help me recover from a challenging chapter in my life. I engaged in individual and group therapy and, little by little, I began to feel relief and a sense of peace. As I gained more understanding and clarity about my circumstances, I became hopeful and excited about life’s possibilities and created a new vision for my life by setting goals and creating opportunities. This transformational experience is the inspiration for my career as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

The hopefulness and rewarding nature of making progress towards a goal and creating a new vision for oneself is at the heart of my work. Regardless of where we find ourselves, we can take steps, however small, in the right direction to make life better. I am passionate about the dynamics of change, the development of positive habits and the importance of supportive relationships in managing and overcoming challenging or traumatic situations.

The ongoing study and practice of transactional analysis within a peer group continue to have a positive impact on my personal relationships and professional life. I aim to use my experience and professional training to safely and ethically help others grow and move forward in life.
